The ARCS provided 30,000 Afghanis in cash assistance to a family in the Afsotar area of Pul-e-Khumri city, Baghlan Province, which lost their 7-year-old child following recent heavy rains.

The head of the family, Sayed Asadullah, who is responsible for supporting his household despite a physical disability, expressed his appreciation for the assistance, saying it would help ease their daily challenges.

Providing timely assistance, including cash and humanitarian support, to families affected by heavy rainfall is among the ARCS’s core responsibilities.
