ARCS Distributes Cash Assistance to Disaster Risk Reduction Committees in Herat

As part of its Climate Change Resilience Project, ARCS, in collaboration with IFRC, disbursed a total of 320,000 Afghanis to 20 Disaster Risk Reduction Committees in Ghoryan, Kuhsan, Rabat-e-Sangi, and Kushk Kuhna districts of Herat Province.

Each committee received 16,000 Afghanis to enhance risk reduction efforts during floods, earthquakes, fires, and other emergency situations.
