One-Day Workshop Held on ARCS Strategic Plan Awareness

A one-day training workshop on Strategic Plan Awareness was held at the central headquarters of the ARCS for senior officials from the central office, regional zones, provincial branches, and independent units.
The event was attended by Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS; Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President; Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salam, Under-Secretary General for Operational Affairs, along with representatives from the ICRC and the IFRC.
In his opening remarks, President Delawar elaborated on the necessity, significance, and objectives of the Strategic Plan. He stated that the perspectives and experiences of officials from regional and provincial offices play a vital role in strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of the plan. He encouraged all participants to share their insights, priorities, needs, and challenges from their respective provinces to help develop a comprehensive and practical Strategic Plan that genuinely addresses community needs.
Speaking at the event, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salam, Under-Secretary General for Operational Affairs, described the Strategic Plan as a pivotal document for achieving the organization’s long-term goals and as a guiding framework for administrative affairs. He added that the plan not only streamlines the ARCS’s workflow but also fosters greater collaboration with international partners, enhances transparency, and improves the overall effectiveness of humanitarian assistance.
Throughout the workshop, participants received in-depth briefings on the identification, necessity, objectives, and structural framework of the Strategic Plan.
