Cash Assistance Distributed to 50 Female-Headed Families in Kunduz to Promote Self-Reliance

The ARCS, with support from the IFRC, has distributed AFN 1,000,000 in cash assistance to 50 vulnerable and female-headed families at the Northeast Zone Marastoon in Kunduz Province. In the first phase of the program, each family received AFN 20,000 to promote self-reliance and support the establishment of small income-generating activities, including livestock rearing, tailoring, poultry farming, and embroidery.
It is worth noting that an additional AFN 13,000 will be distributed to each of these families in a second phase in the near future.
