Kunar: AFN 45 Million Cash Assistance Distribution Completed for 3,000 Internally Displaced Families

The ARCS has completed the distribution of AFN 45 million in cash assistance to 3,000 internally displaced families in Kunar Province. The distribution, which began yesterday, was completed today with the distribution of cash assistance to the remaining families in Nari district.

On the first day of the distribution, AFN 2.325 million was distributed to 155 families in different areas of Asadabad city.

Today, AFN 42.675 million in cash assistance was distributed to 2,845 internally displaced families in Nari district, with each family receiving AFN 15,000. With this, the distribution of AFN 45 million in cash assistance to all 3,000 families was completed.

The assistance was provided by the ICRC to help the displaced families meet their basic needs.

The families expressed their appreciation for the humanitarian services of the ARCS and described the assistance as effective in helping them meet their basic needs.
