Kunar Earthquake: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Hands Over 210 Tons of Assistance to ARCS

In a significant gesture of humanitarian solidarity for those affected by the deadly earthquake in Kunar province, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center of Saudi Arabia delivered over 210 metric tons of essential food aid to ARCS at its central headquarters in Kabul. The handover ceremony was attended by His Excellency Faisal bin Talq Al-Buqami, Saudi Ambassador to Afghanistan, and ARCS President Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar. The shipment, comprising 3,000 food parcels, included 50 kilograms of flour, 5 kilograms each of beans, rice, and cooking oil, and 5.5 kilograms of sugar per package.
During the ceremony, Mr. Delawar expressed profound gratitude to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for its steadfast support to the Afghan people, particularly during times of urgent need. He emphasized that the assistance would play a pivotal role in addressing the basic needs of earthquake-affected families and called for continued and expanded support.
The Saudi ambassador conveyed his condolences to the victims and reiterated that Saudi Arabia would stand with the Afghan people during this crisis, pledging further assistance to support those affected by the earthquake.
