During the meeting, Mr. Khalis expressed gratitude to Japan for its assistance and insured that the assistance would be distributed transparently to those in need. He further stated that ARCS is currently providing both food and non-food items to individuals in need, particularly orphans, as well as offering monthly cash assistance to widows who have lost their family head due to the conflicts of past 40 years and are now responsible for their families. Mr. Khalis also mentioned that efforts are being made to provide vocational education to women who have lost their family head, enabling them to become self-sufficient and meet their basic needs. Additionally, Afghan Red Crescent aims to offer monthly cash aid to vulnerable headless families who are currently forced to beg for survival. Furthermore, Mr. Khalis highlighted the existence of relief and treatment Centers for Psychiatric Patients in several provinces.
