An Online Coordination Meeting was Convened between the Leadership of ARCS and Partners of National Societies!

Today, Tuesday, the 8th of April, Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting General President of ARCS, and Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salaam, the Acting Secretary General of ARCS, held an online meeting at the headquarters of this national humanitarian organization with the representatives of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies from 60 countries. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, the Acting head of IFRC in Afghanistan, and it centered on the expansion of financial resources for national societies, capacity building of the staff, and strengthening coordination and humanitarian efforts. 
During the meeting, the Acting President of ARCS underscored the Significance of addressing the proprieties and needs of national societies. He emphasized the importance of convening such meeting for addressing existing challenges, expanding joint services, activities and coordination. 
Subsequently, representatives from various national societies presented insights about inter-organizational cooperation, and discussed strengthening and supporting national societies, expanding humanitarian assistance, and several other important topics. They considered holding such meetings a positive step for addressing challenges and enhancing cooperation while providing humanitarian assistance.
