The ARCS distributed AFN 4 million in cash assistance to 400 vulnerable women in District 9 of Kandahar City during the third phase of the assistance program.

The assistance was provided with the support of the ICRC, under which each woman received AFN 10,000.

The assistance was provided to help meet the basic needs of these women and their families and to reduce the effects of food insecurity.

It is planned that, under the same program, similar cash assistance will also be distributed to these women over the next three months.

The ARCS strives to play an effective role in meeting the basic needs of vulnerable families, strengthening food security, and alleviating their hardships through its humanitarian assistance programs.
