Nuristan: First Phase of Aid Distribution Completed, Second Phase to Begin in Barg-e-Matal

The distribution of food aid to families affected by recent armed conflicts has been completed in Kamdesh district of Nuristan province. As part of this effort, more than 10,500 families received assistance.

The distributed aid included flour, cooking oil, lentils, salt, and handwashing soap.

As a continuation of this initiative, similar assistance will be distributed to more than 6,000 families in Barg-e Matal district, aiming to help meet the basic needs of families affected by the conflict to some extent.

It is worth noting that this aid is being carried out in joint coordination with the ARCS, the ICRC, and the WFP.
