ARCS Provides Assistance to a Person with Disability

The General President of the ARCS, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, provided cash, food, and non-food assistance to a vulnerable person with disability from Kabul Province.
The individual had recently appealed for help on social media to overcome his financial difficulties. In response, Mr. Delawar contacted him and invited him to his office today to offer support.
The person lost his right hand several years ago while working in Türkiye and is currently unable to work. He stated that his family is facing severe economic challenges, and this assistance from the ARCS will help meet their basic needs.
The support included 15,000 Afghanis in cash, 50 kg of flour, 20 liters of cooking oil, 20 kg of rice, 30 kg of macaroni, 10 kg of chickpeas, 8 kg of sugar, 2 kg of tea, 2 kg of soy, 16 kg of dates, three health and human dignity kits, one blanket, two bottles of dishwashing liquid, and other essential items.
Mr. Delawar listened closely to the individual’s concerns and assured him of further assistance in the future.
The ARCS continues its efforts to provide humanitarian aid to poor, vulnerable, and disabled families throughout the country.
