500 Repatriated Families Receive 40 Tons of Food Assistance in Kapisa for Ramadan

The ARCS, with support from Peace Village International, distributed 40 tons of food assistance to 500 families repatriated from neighboring countries in Kapisa Province.
As part of the assistance, each family received 80 kg of food items, including 50 kg of flour, 10 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 8 kg of macaroni, 2 kg of salt, 1 kg of powdered milk, 1 kg of green tea, and 5 packs of biscuits.
The purpose of this assistance was to reduce the economic hardships of repatriated families during the holy month of Ramadan and to help meet their short-term food needs.
Serving, supporting, and addressing the basic living needs of repatriated families is among the top priorities of the ARCS.
