The ARCS, with the support of the IFRC, provided AFN 2,000,000 in cash assistance during the first phase to 100 repatriated, vulnerable, and female-headed families in Herat and Logar provinces, aiming to support small businesses and promote self-reliance. Each family received AFN 20,000.
Among the beneficiaries, 50 families were from Herat and 50 from Logar.
Through this assistance, the families will be able to meet their daily and urgent needs by establishing small-scale businesses.
It is worth noting that, in the near future, nearly AFN 1.5 million will also be distributed to these families during the second phase.
