Cash Assistance Provided to 1,500 Earthquake-Affected Families in Kunar

The ARCS, with support from the ICRC, provided AFN 37,500,000 in cash assistance to 1,500 earthquake-affected families in Mazar Dara area of Nurgal district, Kunar province as part of its humanitarian support efforts to help meet their basic and urgent needs.
Each family received 25,000 Afghanis.
With this assistance, the families will be able to better address their daily needs in an organized manner.
It is worth noting that previously, nearly AFN 16 million was distributed to 1,500 earthquake-affected families in Sawkay district of the same province.
