Paktika: Cash Assistance Provided to 80 Vulnerable Families

ARCS has delivered 374,000 Afghanis to 80 families engaged in street begging in Paktika Province as part of the monthly cash assistance and with the aim of helping them avoid begging in the future. Based on household size, some families received 5,000 Afghanis, some 4,000 Afghanis, and others 2,000 Afghanis. The assistance was transferred directly to their bank accounts.
Notably, ARCS continues to support these families with regular monthly cash assistance through their bank accounts.
