Thousands of children in Eastern Zone Receive Public Awareness on Unexploded Ordnance

ARCS, through its Explosive Ordnance Contamination Project in the Eastern Zone, has delivered awareness sessions reaching 3,823 children over the past week. With the support of 20 volunteers, a total of 213 awareness sessions were conducted across ten districts in the provinces of Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, and Nuristan. The initiative aimed to equip children with essential knowledge regarding identification, avoidance, and safety measures related to unexploded ordnance. 
The ARCS remains committed to raising awareness about unexploded remnants of war to ensure the safety and protection of children.
