Khost: AFN 4 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 400 Vulnerable Women

The ARCS distributed AFN 4 million in cash assistance to 400 vulnerable women facing food shortages in various villages of Zazi Maidan District, Khost Province, during the first phase of the cash assistance program.

The assistance was provided with the support of the ICRC, under which each woman received AFN 10,000

The assistance was distributed to help meet the basic needs of these women and to reduce the effects of food insecurity.

Under the program, the same women will continue to receive similar cash assistance over the next five months.

The ARCS, in cooperation with its national and international partners, strives to deliver timely humanitarian assistance to vulnerable families facing food insecurity and to play an effective role in meeting their basic needs.
