Balkh: Nearly 19 Million Afghanis Distributed to Vulnerable Farmers

The ARCS, with support from the ICRC, has distributed a total of AFN 18,750,000 in cash assistance to 750 drought-affected farmers in Chahar Bolak District of Balkh Province, with each farmer receiving 25,000 Afghanis in financial support.
This assistance aims to help farmers purchase agricultural tools, improved seed varieties, and access water management systems, thereby enhancing their self-reliance in agriculture.
