ARCS General President Visits Northeast Zone: Enhancing Facilities for Mental Health Centers Declared Top Priority

During an official visit to the Northeast Zone, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, inspected the zone’s headquarters, the Center for the Care and Treatment of Psychiatric Patients, the newly constructed Marastoon facility, and the Kunduz provincial branch.
During the visit, Delawar emphasized the importance of proper treatment, respectful conduct, and strict adherence to hygiene standards in the care of individuals with mental health conditions. He stressed that supporting mental health patients is one of the core priorities of the ARCS, noting that efforts are underway to ensure all necessary facilities and services are made available across these centers.
Addressing staff members and volunteers during a gathering at the Kunduz provincial office, Delawar stated, “The ARCS, as a humanitarian and charitable organization, has the responsibility to assist vulnerable families, crisis-affected communities, and those without guardians.” He added that every staff member is obligated to serve the needy and destitute citizens of the country with sincerity and unwavering integrity.
He further commended the dedication and efforts of the Northeast Zone’s staff and volunteers during the Special Week of the current year and presented a commemorative award to the director of the Kunduz branch in recognition of exemplary performance.
