79 Vulnerable Families Receive Monthly Cash Assistance in Laghman

ARCS has disbursed 389,000 Afghanis in cash assistance to 79 families engaged in street begging in Mehtarlam, the capital of Laghman Province. Each household received 5,000 Afghanis, transferred directly to their bank accounts. The initiative seeks to ease the economic hardships faced by these families and to provide a sustainable alternative to dependence on street begging.
