Balkh: Uzbekistan Hands Over 200 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to ARCS

The Republic of Uzbekistan handed over 200 tons of food aid to the ARCS in Balkh Province.
This assistance is being delivered to ARCS at a time when recent floods across various provinces of the country have caused significant human and financial losses to many families, leaving thousands of families in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.
The aid includes 96 tons of flour, 22 tons of rice, 22 tons of chickpeas, 22 tons of sugar, 22 tons of macaroni, 15,000 liters of cooking oil, 10,000 cans of cooked meat, biscuits, and a number of other essential food items aimed at supporting flood-affected and vulnerable families.
It is planned that this assistance will be distributed through transparent and well-organized process among flood-affected and vulnerable families in the near future.
The ARCS considers the expansion of national and international humanitarian cooperation important for supporting affected families during natural disasters and emergencies.
