Northern Provinces Earthquake: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Hands Over Food and Non-Food Assistance to ARCS

In a significant gesture of humanitarian assistance to those affected by the earthquake in Balkh and Samangan provinces, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center of Saudi Arabia has provided emergency food and non-food aid. The assistance was officially handed over at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Kabul by H.E. Faisal bin Talq Al-Buqami, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan, to the General President of the ARCS, Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar.
During the ceremony, Mr. Delawar expressed profound gratitude to KSrelief for its timely humanitarian support. He noted that such urgent aid plays a crucial role in addressing the immediate needs of earthquake-affected families and expressed hope for the continuation of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian assistance.
In his remarks, Ambassador Al-Buqami pledged that Saudi Arabia would stand with the Afghan people in times of crisis and continue its efforts to provide further humanitarian assistance.
The aid package includes 500 tents, 2,500 blankets, 500 kitchen sets, 141 tons (3,000 packages) of various food items such as flour, cooking oil, rice, beans, and sugar, along with 24 tons of dates.
