The ARCS provided AFN 30,000 in cash assistance to a family in Tawa Village of Biksamand Valley, Chak District, Maidan Wardak Province, that suffered human and financial losses due to the recent heavy rainfall.

The assistance was provided with the support if the Red Cross Society of China to help meet the family's urgent and basic needs.

The ARCS strives to provide timely cash and humanitarian assistance to families affected by natural disasters and to play an effective role in meeting their immediate needs.
