Food Assistance Provided to 150 Earthquake-Affected Families in Balkh

The ARCS has provided 11.520 metric tons of food assistance to 150 families affected by the earthquake as an economic support in various villages of Marmal District, Balkh Province.
This assistance, provided by the Turkish Red Crescent, consisted of 76.8 kilograms of food items per family, including flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, beans, macaroni, green tea, tomato paste, and biscuits.
This food assistance will largely meet the short-term nutritional needs of the earthquake-affected families and will play a practical and significant role in the restoration of their livelihoods.
