Strengthening Humanitarian Aid Coordination: ARCS, ICRC, and IFRC Convene Joint Meeting

Mr. Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, held a joint meeting with Ms. Katharina Ritz, Head of the ICRC Delegation in Afghanistan, Mr. Joy Singhal, Acting Head of the IFRC Delegation in Afghanistan, and Deputy Head Ms. Huma Nader to discuss the effectiveness and improvement of joint humanitarian efforts. 
During the meeting, Mr. Azizur Rahman expressed appreciation for the sustained support of the ICRC and the IFRC and emphasized the importance of timely delivery of services to the affected people. 
For their part, the ICRC and IFRC representatives expressed gratitude to the ARCS leadership for its central role in joint humanitarian action. They affirmed their commitment to continued collaboration in parts of addressing challenges, building capacity, and advancing joint efforts.
