Ramadan Aid in Kabul: Food and Non-Food Items Distributed to 300 Needy Families

The ARCS distributed various food and non-food items to 300 vulnerable and needy families at its Central Marastoon in Kabul.
The aid was distributed in the presence of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman, and Sayed Ahmad Selab, head of the Selab Charity Foundation.
During the distribution, Mr. Delawar stated, “the ARCS, in line with its humanitarian mission, strives to provide timely assistance to vulnerable and impoverished families across the country and to alleviate their hardships to some extent through humanitarian activities.” He also expressed gratitude to the Selab Charity Foundation for its support and described the assistance as a timely and important initiative for vulnerable families.
Mr. Selab stated that helping poor and needy members of society is both a humanitarian and Islamic responsibility of all. On this basis, in coordination with the ARCS, they distributed new clothes and other essential items to several vulnerable families for Eid.
Each family received 20 kg of rice, 5 kg of lentils, 5 liters of cooking oil, 2 kg of dates, 4 bottles of dishwashing liquid, 5 packets of laundry powder, and toothpaste. In addition, the assistance provided by the Selab Charity Foundation included 1 kg of tea, 6 bars of laundry soap, clothing for men, women, and children, children’s shoes, and other essential items.
