The ARCS distributed AFN 2 million in cash assistance to 200 vulnerable women experiencing food shortages in Anamak village of Salang District, Parwan Province, as part of the second phase of its assistance program.

The assistance was provided with the support of the ICRC, with each woman receiving AFN 10,000.

The cash assistance aims to help the women and their families meet their basic needs.

Similar cash assistance is also planned for the same women over the next four months as part of the program.

Through its humanitarian assistance programs, the ARCS strives to help vulnerable families, particularly households headed by women, meet their essential needs on time and reduce the challenges they face.
