Kabul: 13-Day Training Workshop Launched for Finance Officers

The Finance Department of the ARCS has launched a 13-day training workshop on financial accounting, financial guidelines, and financial systems for 24 finance officers from the central headquarters, regional offices, mental health care and treatment centers, and Marastoons.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Hafiz Shabir Ahmad Usmani, Director of the Finance Department, said the workshop aims to strengthen the professional capacity of finance officers, enhance financial management, and improve the overall quality of the organization's operations. He encouraged participants to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire during the training in their day-to-day responsibilities.

The training, financially supported by the IFRC, provides participants with practical and professional instruction in financial management, accounting, accountability, financial guidelines, and the effective use of financial systems.

The ARCS places special emphasis on strengthening the professional capacity of its staff to enhance the effectiveness of its humanitarian services and strives to improve institutional performance and the quality of its operations through training programs.
