The Health Department of ARCS launched a three-day training workshop for first aid trainers at the central headquarters.

The workshop, financially supported by the ICRC, is attended by 16 first aid trainers from the country’s seven regional zones.

Throughout the workshop, participants will receive both theoretical and practical instruction on first aid, the management of unconscious casualties, bleeding control, the treatment of wounds, fractures and burns, the safe transportation of injured persons, and effective response during emergency situations.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants are expected to strengthen their professional first aid competencies and play an even more active role in delivering standardized and effective health services across different parts of the country during emergencies.
