The ARCS, with support from the Peace Village International, provided 40 tons of food assistance to 500 repatriated families in the center of Parwan province, as well as in Bagram, Kohi Safi, and Sayed Khel districts.
As part of the assistance, each family received 80 kilograms of food items, including 50 kg of flour, 10 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 8 kg of macaroni, 2 kg of salt, 1 kg of powdered milk, 1 kg of green tea, and 5 packs of biscuits.
The purpose of this assistance was to reduce the basic challenges faced by repatriated families during the holy month of Ramadan and to help meet their short-term food needs.
ARCS considers serving, supporting, and addressing the primary living needs of repatriated families as its fundamental responsibility.
