Humanitarian Aid Provided to 417 Repatriated Families in Panjshir

Under the directive of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, and with support from the Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, IHH, and the Republic of Uzbekistan, assistance consisting of 14 different food and non-food items was provided to 417 repatriated families in Panjshir.
Each family received 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of sugar, 10 kg of chickpeas, 12 kg of macaroni, 1 can of tomato paste, 5 kg of dates, 1 blanket, 2 bottles of dishwashing detergent, 2 bottles of shampoo, 1 pair of shoes, and various other essential items.
The distribution ceremony was attended by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Noor Ahmad Hanif, Advisor to the General President of ARCS; Mr. Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, Governor of Panjshir Province; several directors from the central headquarters; the director of the Panjshir provincial branch; representatives from Türkiye’s IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation; and officials from various other organizations.
During the ceremony, Mr. Hanif described the assistance as valuable for the families and stated that receiving this aid will play an effective role in addressing their basic needs. He emphasized that ARCS remains committed to supporting repatriated refugees and will continue its efforts to assist them as always.
The Governor of Panjshir, while expressing appreciation for the comprehensive services of ARCS, stated that the organization has always been a leading force in supporting vulnerable and destitute people. He specifically highlighted the special attention given to repatriated individuals during the cold winter months and expressed hope that ARCS will continue its efforts so that repatriated families do not feel isolated.
This assistance was provided to these families to help meet their daily needs.
