Nangarhar: 1,140 Earthquake-Affected Families Receive Nearly 175 Tons of Food Assistance

Under the directive of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, 174.99 metric tons of food assistance were provided to 1,140 families affected by the earthquake in various areas of Dara-e-Noor District, Nangarhar Province.
The aid, supplied by the Turkish Red Crescent, included flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, beans, green tea, salt, and biscuits, totaling 153.5 kilograms per household.
In addition, each family received a health kit.
This assistance was provided to help the affected families meet their urgent and daily needs.
It is worth noting that the aid given to each family was valued at 13,000 Afghanis, bringing the total value of the assistance to approximately 15 million Afghanis.
Wherever an earthquake causes damage, the ARCS is always the first to respond and provide support to those affected.
