Inauguration of a care and protection center by ARCS for psychological patients in Nangarhar province!

On 7th February, ARCS has inaugurated a care and protection center for psychological patients on eastern zone level in Nangarhar province, where besides protection of 150 psychological patients, they will be also treated. In gathering, Mr. Khalis - Acting General President of ARCS told" We have been determined from very long time to establish care & protection centers for psychological patients on the country level, fortunately; today we were able to turn our determination into reality and inaugurate a center for the protection, care and treatment of male and female psychological patients on eastern zone level in Nangarhar province." He said "Through this center, We strive to reach out the vulnerable people, who can't treat, care & protect the psychological patients of their families and we also have inaugurated such centers in some other zones." Mr. Mawlavi Mati-Ul-Haq "Khalis" stated" I call on wealthy people that putting hands with each other can save the suffered nation from hardships, therefore the rich people shall help the vulnerable people; because helping the vulnerable people is not only the responsibility of government & foreign aid, but the wealthy people must also help the vulnerable people." He added, "Foreign aid cannot make us self-sufficient or independent, we ourselves must work and save this nation." Mr. Khalis stated that he will soon initiate monthly cash assistance program for beggars in Nangarhar Province. In gathering, along with a number of other officials, Mr. Mawlavi Muhammad Nasim "Ahmadi", the director of internal audit also told "We will treat and protect the psychological patients in this center, better than our family members." In gathering, Mr. Shikh Taj Uddin, the Deputy Chief of Police of Nangarhar Province & Mr. Mawlavi Arif, the representative of Nangarhar Province and a number of other officials insisted in their speeches on cooperation with ARCS. At the end of gathering, ARCS has distributed certificates of appreciation to those, who have played vital role & tireless efforts in the completion of the work of this center.
