Nangarhar: 3.5 Million Afghanis Distributed to Repatriated Refugees

Sunday, August 24, 2025

ARCS, with the financial support of the IFRC, has distributed 3.5 million in cash assistance to 100 repatriated families in Nangarhar province, with each family receiving 35,000 AFN.
Many of these returnees continue to grapple with serious challenges such as lack of shelter, unemployment, and limited access to basic needs. The financial support is expected to meet their basic needs and provide some economic relief.
The ARCS is fully committed to supporting returning refugees.
