Logar: Over AFN 11 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 1,050 Returnee Families

The ARCS distributed AFN 11.13 million in cash assistance to 1,050 returnee families inh Pul-e-Alam, the provincial capital of Logar, and the districts of Mohammad Agha, Charkh, and Khoshi.

The assistance was provided with support from the IFRC, with each family receiving AFN 10,600.

During the distribution, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, said that the returnee families had been surveyed accurately and transparently to identify eligible families for cash assistance.

He added that around 800 of these families had returned to the country within the past six months, while more than 200 others had returned during the past year.

The cash assistance was distributed to help returnee families meet their basic needs and ease their economic difficulties.

Through its humanitarian programs, the ARCS strives to provide timely assistance to returnee families and help meet their basic needs.
