Kabul: 72 ARCS Employees Graduate from Training Programs

The Capacity Building Unit of the Department of Staff Affairs of the ARCS organized training programs in literacy, computer skills, calligraphy, and English language for 72 employees from various departments at the Society’s central headquarters and awarded graduation certificates to the participants.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Mawlawi Mohammad Ibrahim Mohammadi, a representative of the Ministry of Education, as well as a number of ARCS officials and staff members.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Delawar praised the efforts of the Department of Staff Affairs in capacity building and enhancing employees' professional skills. He stated that investing in employees’ academic and professional development is of particular importance to the institution’s growth and to improving the quality of its services.

He further added that creating opportunities for employees to pursue learning and acquire skills alongside their daily responsibilities is a significant step toward strengthening human resources and can contribute positively to service delivery and workplace performance.

Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman also spoke about the importance of knowledge, education, and skills development. He encouraged the Department of Staff Affairs to continue and expand such capacity-building and professional training programs and urged employees to make the best use of these opportunities to further enhance their professional competencies.

Mawlawi Mohammad Ibrahim Mohammadi, representative of the Ministry of Education, described the ARCS training and capacity-building programs for employees as valuable initiatives and stated that education and skills development form the foundation of both individual and institutional progress. He expressed support for the continuation and expansion of literacy and professional training programs and emphasized that employees’ academic and professional competencies play an important role in enhancing the quality of services.

Dr. Abdul Aleem Ahmadzai, Manager of the Capacity Building Unit, provided information about the duration of the courses and the number of participants. He explained that the training programs were designed to enhance employees’ professional skills and contribute to improved service quality.

He added that the programs were successfully conducted over a specified period, during which 18 employees completed literacy education courses, 10 completed English language training, 30 completed computer skills training, and 14 completed calligraphy courses.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants, followed by a closing prayer.

The ARCS strives to strengthen the professional capacities of its employees through training and capacity-building programs and enhance the quality of humanitarian services.
