Herat: Goats and Chickens Provided to Families Without Guardians to Promote Self-Reliance

The Western Zone Marastoon of ARCS, with support from the Danish Red Cross, distributed chickens and lactating goats to 12 families without guardians in Kadestan village of Injil District, Herat province, valued at 216,000 Afghanis.
As part of the initiative, each family received two chickens, one goat, and 220 kilograms of feed, collectively worth 18,000 Afghanis, to support proper animal care.
Notably, this aid aims to empower families without guardians towards self-reliance and help meet their basic living needs.
