The ARCS distributed 300,000 AFN in cash assistance to 50 vulnerable and repatriated families in Shindand and Zendeh Jan districts of Herat Province for launching small businesses and achieving self-reliance.

This assistance was provided with the support of the IFRC, under which each family received 6,000 AFN.

This cash assistance is expected to improve the economic situation of these families through small income-generating activities and provide sustainable sources of income.

The ARCS, through its livelihood support programs, is working to create opportunities for economic strengthening and self-reliance for repatriated and vulnerable families.
