Today, Thursday, May 15th, delegates from ARCS together with Mr. Halil Ibrahim Okur and Dr. Tawfiq Ahmad of OIC visited children suffering from congenital heart defects at Aryana and Star hospitals in Kabul.

These patients were referred to the hospitals for treatment and surgeries through ARCS coordination with financial support from the OIC.

During the visit, Mr. Okur commended the efforts, meticulous management, and unwavering commitment demonstrated by ARCS, hospitals and healthcare staff in treating the patients.

He added that supporting innocent children affected by complex illnesses is a shared and ethical responsibility of all. He further stated that the OIC, in collaboration with ARCS, is striving to expand access to such healthcare services in remote areas of the country.
