Badakhshan: AFN 11.5 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 500 Affected Farmers

The ARCS distributed AFN 11.5 million in cash assistance to 500 farmers affected by drought in various districts and villages of Faizabad, the provincial capital of Badakhshan.
The assistance was provided with support from the ICRC, with each affected farmer receiving AFN 23,000.
The purpose of this assistance is to provide economic support to affected farmers and create opportunities to strengthen their agricultural activities.
This assistance is expected to help improve farmers’ economic conditions and support the continuity of their livelihoods.
