ARCS General President Meets UNAMA Chief of Human Rights

Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, met with Ms. Fiona Frazer, Chief of Human Rights at the UNAMA, and her delegation to discuss expanding humanitarian support for disaster-affected communities, vulnerable families, and returning refugees.
Mr. Delawar briefed the delegation on the ARCS’s ongoing efforts, including assistance to disaster victims, families without guardians, persons with disabilities, children with congenital heart defects, and other services provided through central and regional offices. He noted that the ARCS provides thousands of hot meals and clean drinking water daily to returning refugees and earthquake-affected families in Kunar province, while also delivering healthcare services and temporary shelters. He emphasized the importance of support from international humanitarian organizations to expand these efforts and called for increased assistance.
Ms. Frazer expressed appreciation for the humanitarian efforts of the ARCS and pledged to expand cooperation in supporting vulnerable groups, disaster-affected communities, and returnees.
