ARCS Distributes AFN 732,000 to Laborers Supporting Returnees in Nangarhar and Kandahar

ARCS, in collaboration with IFRC, has distributed a total of 732,000 Afghanis to workers engaged in cash-for-work projects at two refugee camps in Nangarhar and Kandahar Provinces. In the Omari camp in Torkham, Nangarhar، 40 laborers each received AFN 12,000. Similarly, in the Anzhergai Camp of Takht-e-Pul District, Kandahar, 21 laborers were compensated with the same amount.

The payments were provided in exchange for their contributions to camp sanitation, public awareness activities to returnees, and logistical support during resettlement efforts.
