Afghan Red Crescent has established psychological centers for the treatment and care of psychiatric patients of those families who are unable to provide treatment!

Afghan Red Crescent has established psychological centers for the treatment and care of psychiatric patients of those families who are unable to provide treatment, care, and protection for their mentally lost relatives in the country. Currently, there are 6 psychiatric patients care and treatment centers run by Afghan Red Crescent throughout the country, which providing treatment and care to a total of 2,182 individuals suffering from psychiatric problems. Out of these psychiatric patients,792 receiving treatment in psychiatric patients care centers while the remaining 1,389 receiving treatment at their homes. Notably, among the 792 patients in psychiatric patients care centers, 580 are male and 213 are female. These patients have been provided with all necessary facilities for living, in addition to receiving treatment and care in separate accommodations.
