The Afghan Red Crescent Society delegation led by Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis, Acting president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, held a trilateral meeting in Doha with the leadership of the Qatar Red Crescent Society and the leaders of the International Federation. The meeting discussed the problems in the region and the solution to the problems. The leadership of the Qatar Red Crescent Society promised to launch new humanitarian projects in Afghanistan and would be expand current activities. Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis, Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, assured the International Federation and the Qatar Red Crescent Society, that their assistance without any delay will reach the needy people in a transparent manner and will be help in strengthening new projects.
