Tuesday, February 24, 2026

The ARCS, with support from the Qatar Red Crescent, distributed 19.1 tons of food assistance to 200 needy and vulnerable families in the Shawza area of Gumal District, Paktika Province.
Each family received 95.5 kilograms of essential food items, including 50 kg of flour, 24.5 kg of rice, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of salt, 3 kg of dates, and 1 kg of green tea.
This assistance aims to reduce the economic hardships of these families and meet their short-term food needs during the holy month of Ramadan.
It is worth noting that similar aid was previously distributed to 600 vulnerable families in Nemat Abad and Chahar Baran districts of the same province.
In line with its fundamental principles, the ARCS continues to support vulnerable and impoverished individuals.
