Today, the 2nd of January, 2022, the Afghan Red Crescent Society and the Red Crescent Societies of Qatar and Kuwait distributed jointly food and non-food items in Arghandab District, Zabul Province to 400 war-affected, drought-affected, homeless, and displaced households.

The aid includes 20 kg of flour, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of lentils, 5 kg of sugar, 5 liters of oil, tea and a hygiene kit.

Yesterday, the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) directorate also provided mention assistance to 100 families in Zabul province.

One day before that, the aid was distributed to 150 families in Surkhakan area of ​​Qalat and 2 days ago to 350 families in Mezana district.

It is expected that within a few days, the Afghan Red Crescent society will distribute aid provided by the Qatar and Kuwait Red Crescent societies to a total of 1000 needy families in Zabul province.
