Over 19 Tons of Food Assistance Distributed to 250 Vulnerable Female-Headed Families in Nangarhar

The ARCS distributed 19.25 tons of food assistance to 250 female-headed and vulnerable families in Khogyani District of Nangarhar Province.
The assistance, provided with financial support from the Turkish Red Crescent, included 77 kilograms of food items for each family.
The packages consisted of 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, half a kilogram of green tea, one bottle of tomato paste, and three packets of biscuits.
It is expected that this assistance will help meet the short-term food needs of these families.
The ARCS considers supporting affected and vulnerable families during natural disasters and emergencies a priority and continues its efforts to address their basic needs promptly.
