The Acting President of Afghan Red Crescent recently visited the earthquake-affected areas in the Zinda Jan district, Herat province. Today, On Monday, October 9th, Mr. Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, the Acting President of Afghan Red Crescent, visited the earthquake-stricken area in the Zinda Jan district of Herat province. During the visit, Mr. Khalis established three shelter camps to provide housing and essential services for the earthquake-affected individuals who have lost their homes. The construction of the three shelter camps (Naib Rafi, Kushkak, and Siyaab camps) initiated by Acting President of Afghan Red Crescent will cater to all the needs of the earthquake-affected individuals. The camps will be equipped with appropriate human needs to assist those affected by the earthquake.Furthermore, He held meetings with representatives from various charitable organizations in the area. He urged them to extend their services on a larger scale to reach and assist the individuals and families affected by the recent earthquake. It's mentioning that the Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent supervised closely the assessment and registration process of the earthquake-affected and vulnerable families,to determine the extent of required humanitarian assistance in the region and to know the quantity of the support to be appealed from international organizations.
