Kunduz: 50 Patients Return Home After Completing Treatment and Recovering

The ARCS, at the northeastern zone level, returned 50 patients from its Mental Health Care and Treatment Center in Kunduz Province to their homes after completing treatment and recovering, during a ceremony held for the occasion.

During the ceremony, the Head of the Northeastern Zone, Mohammad Shafi Hijrat, expressed his happiness over the recovery of the patients and called on their families to treat them appropriately and encouragingly after treatment, continue to pay attention to their mental well-being, and properly follow the doctors’ recommendations.

Currently, 146 female and male patients are receiving treatment and healthcare services at the center.

The ARCS has Mental Health Care and Treatment Centers in six zones of the country: Kabul, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Balkh, Herat, and Kunduz, where patients receive treatment, healthcare, and appropriate care services.

The treatment and healthcare of patients with mental health conditions, as well as providing them with a suitable and well-organized environment, are among the important components of the ARCS’s healthcare services.
