Maidan Wardak: 24.3 Tons of Food Assistance Provided to 321 Returnee and Vulnerable Families

The ARCS distributed 24.3 tons of food assistance to 280 returnee refugee families and 41 families without guardians in Maidan Shar, the capital of Maidan Wardak Province.

The assistance was provided with financial support from the Turkish Red Crescent. Each family received 75.8 kilograms of essential food items, including 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, 800 grams of tomato paste, 500 grams of green tea, and 500 grams of biscuits.

The aid was provided to help meet the basic food needs of these families and ease the economic pressures they face.

Through its humanitarian programs, ARCS continues to provide timely assistance to returnees, families without guardians, and other communities in need, helping them meet their basic necessities.
